Rapid Prototyping with Objet's Medical Grade MED610 resin

Objet the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing has released a new very interesting prototyping material: MED610, which is a transparent bio-compatible 3D Printing material.

A rigid material featuring excellent dimensional stability and colourless transparency. The material is ideal for applications requiring prolonged skin contact of over 30 days and short term mucosal-membrane contact of up to 24 hours. MED610 Bio-Compatible material has 5 medical approvals including Cytotoxicity, Genotoxicity, Delayed Type Hypersensitivity, Irritation and USP Plastic Class VI*

The combination of bio-compatibility and colorless transparency makes this material ideal for Hearing aids, Medical and Dental applications.

IPF 3D Printing now have the capability to print with this rigid, transparent clear, bio-compatible material on our in-house Eden 350v and Connex 500, offering builds in high quality 16 micron layers or high speed 30 micron layers.
