IPF help Performance Sports bounce 1st to market with another innovation.

When Performance Sports were looking for a rapid prototyping partner to help bring their innovative new product to market, IPF were the natural choice. The ‘Rebounder Pro Keeper’ is a football training aid that guarantees to improve performance.

The Pro Keeper is hand held and is perfect for fine tuning goalkeeper skills. It is proven to improve hand eye co-ordination, speed & agility, and it is ideal for improving reactions and timing.

Described by  Performance Sports Design Director, Damian Vesey, as “the biggest development in goal keeping aides since the goalkeeper glove”.  The Rebounder Pro comes in two additional varieties, the Player Pro and the Pro Target.

Critical to Damian and his team was getting the product developed rapidly so they could take  it to market as soon as possible.

IPF were chosen for their speed, expertise and quality of service, which helped reduce the development life cycle of the product by using their 3d printing services and enable Rebounder Pro to take full advantage of their position as first to market. The product utilises a unique bungee retaining system, which could not have been developed so quickly without the use of IPF’s Connex500.

A number of top Premiership clubs have already purchased the product and others are expressing great interest. Damian expects that the adoption of this product will have a big impact on grass-roots football as well.
IPF were involved at all points through the development of the product and ready to offer advice and guidance at all stages.

IPF makes a significant investment in their bureau equipment, which enables firms of all sizes to take advantage of technology that is otherwise unavailable to them.
