IPFL have continued to invest in equipment for plastic processing, with a CNC Laser for the profiling / cutting and engraving of acrylic, plus a variety of other materials.

Laser cutting is ideal for prototypes, small batches or large production runs.

The majority of plastics can be laser cut, but there are limitations due to health and safety. Although we have excellent extraction and filtration system we limit the plastics we cut to the ones we know are relatively safe. These include Acrylic, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, Nylon, LDPE / HDPE, HIPS and Polyester. Other materials can be cut or assessed, please enquire regarding your requirements.
