IPF Attend TCT Show Birmingham NEC 2015.

Alongside their extensive 3D Printing capabilities IPF will be showcasing their Machining and Fabrication of plastics for the first time at the TCT exhibition this year, stand F19, from 30th September – 1st October (NEC, Birmingham).

At this years show, IPF will demonstrate what can be achieved using our bureau’s range of Polyjet and FDM technology, including the Stratasys Connex3, multi-material 3D Printer. This innovative Polyjet technology creates brilliantly coloured prototypes with a range of multi-material components including; Rigid and flexible, clear and durable. We have access to thousands of colour variations including lifelike colours, and a wide range of shore hardness’s.

IPF boast a long standing close relationship with Stratasys, built over years of beta testing new materials, and investing in their latest Polyjet technology. IPF currently possess the largest overall capacity of Polyjet 3D Printers in the UK.

Alongside our 3D Printing service, IPF has a renowned plastic machining and fabrication service providing essential parts for the medical pharmaceutical, aerospace, auto-mobile, security, audio and broadcasting equipment industries. IPF will showcase prototypes made using various techniques including; CNC machining and fabrication, diffusion bonding, diamond polishing/machining, laser profiling and engraving.

Why IPF?

Established in 1969, Industrial Plastic Fabrications Ltd have over 40 years worth of experience to draw from in CNC Plastic machining and fabrication, plus over 12 years in the 3D Printing industry.

IPF 3D Printing specialists offer their extensive knowledge and guidance on their in- house technologies, for all your prototyping needs without the need for investment yourselves. Due to IPF’S continued involvement in functional testing, our customer gets access to the latest technology and material on the market.

Additionally, IPF have industry renowned engineers in plastic machining and fabrication, supplying a wide range of industries with prototypes and production quantities in design intent materials.

Systems available at IPF

Stratasys continues to produce the most capable 3D printers and materials, this combined with IPF’s knowledge, guidance, and finishing techniques, allows our clients to create better products, and reduce their lead-time thanks to better testing at prototype stage. We now have access to thousands of colour variations including lifelike colours, and a wide range of shore hardness’s.

Our Machining service uses a range of CNC routers, milling machines and lathes for turning all plastics including poly-carbonates, acetal, PTFE, SRBP etc. Whether your Acrylic machining requirement is for prototypes, small batches or production runs we can produce high quality Perspex and Acrylic components to your exact specifications

So what’s new?

This year our team are not only on hand to offer advice on our 3D Printing service, but also to showcase our Plastic Machining and Fabrication for the first time at the TCT show. We use state of the art CNC routing and machining techniques to provide high-quality parts quickly, accurately and at a competitive prices.

Come to stand F19 to see how our Machining service compliments 3D Printing, and see variations of 3D Printed prototypes and our newest FDM materials on offer;

Ultem: A FDM thermoplastic, this material is ideal for aerospace, automotive and military applications. Ultem possesses high strength-to-weight ratio and offers advanced functional prototypes and end-use parts.

Nylon 12: Used to create advanced prototypes and custom tooling for applications that demand superior fatigue resistance. Typical for producing jigs, fixtures, factory tooling and end-use parts, as well as functional prototypes.

Visit us on Stand F19 for a consultation on your 3D Printing or Machining requirements.
