We currently have an opportunity to join a fast-paced 3D printing team as a Sales and Production Technician at a well-established family firm in Nazeing, Essex.
Industrial Plastic Fabrications Ltd have been established for over 50 years providing the best quality plastic components to a huge range of clients including industrial, medical, film and TV, defense and security.
The 3D printing suite has expanded, evolved and diversified into a industry leading bureau service which, with constant expansion, is now in need of an enthusiastic new member of the team.
This role will suit a driven individual with good communication skills through both verbal and written channels. A background in 3D printing, manufacturing or associated fields is certainly an advantage with regards to engineering tasks – drawing analysis, CAD generation, inspection, maintenance.

Sales & Production Technician Position: Full-time role handling customer enquiries and fulfilling production requirements.
We are excited to offer this opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing team catering to a variety of industries – medical and scientific, industrial manufacturing, product development, and motorsport, with parts ranging from single prototypes to large, repeated batches. As a 3D Printing Sales & Production Technician, you will play a vital role in both sales and hands-on production operations, interacting directly with customers and managing projects. This role combines two key areas: the sales and customer prospecting aspects of our operations and the physical production and finishing of 3D printed parts.
Sales & Production Technician – Key Duties will include:
Quote generations and follow-ups
Workshop, hands-on production
Customer prospecting and development
Project and production management, including production scheduling
Customer relationship continuation
General machine and workshop maintenance with ongoing training
Exhibition prospecting where required
Associated department tasks including, but not limited to, CAD and R&D
Component post-processing and part finishing – papering, painting, polishing
Careful packing of parts for dispatch
The position is based on-site in Nazeing, Essex (10 minutes north of M25 J26), and will be contracted for 37.5 hours per week with an additional overtime rate.
Salary will be based on skills and experience.
