IPFL manufacture precision plastic microfluidic devices using materials such as COC, Ultem (PEI), acrylic (PMMA), and polycarbonate. Using diffusion bonding techniques, multiple layers can be permanently fused together without solvents or adhesives, creating sealed microchannels while maintaining material properties and dimensional accuracy. This approach is well suited to lab-on-a-chip systems, analytical devices, and fluid control manifolds where chemical resistance, optical access, and reliable sealing are critical.
