We’re excited to announce that IPFL has invested in the groundbreaking BMF microArch D1025, the industry’s first dual-resolution micro 3D printer. This revolutionary system significantly expands our capacity to deliver ultra-high precision micro components with unprecedented efficiency and versatility
The D1025 is unlike any micro 3D printer on the market. Powered by BMF’s proven Projection Micro Stereolithography (PµSL) technology, it offers the unique ability to print at both 10µm and 25µm resolutions or even combine both in hybrid mode with different resolutions in different layers of the same part.

The D1025 gives us the flexibility to select the optimal resolution for your specific application. When your project demands tighter tolerances on critical features, we’ll use 10µm resolution for ultra-high precision. For larger production batches or components with less demanding geometries, we can switch to 25µm resolution to deliver significantly faster turnaround times. This intelligent flexibility means we save you time, reduce your costs, and improve efficiency on every project.
With ±1µm XY positional accuracy and tolerances ranging from ±25µm to ±50µm depending on resolution and geometry, the D1025 maintains the exceptional accuracy BMF is known for. The 100 × 100 × 50mm build volume provides ample space for multiple parts or larger designs, while layer thicknesses from 10µm to 50µm allow you to balance resolution with build speed based on your specific requirements.
The addition of the BMF D1025 significantly enhances IPFL’s service offerings by providing dual-resolution flexibility that optimises both precision and production speed. The system is particularly suited to applications requiring micro-scale components where intelligent resolution selection can dramatically improve efficiency, such as:
The D1025 features advanced automation systems that reduce setup time, minimise manual intervention, and ensure consistent results:
Automatic Calibration System: Platform, membrane, and roller are calibrated quickly and automatically, dramatically decreasing printer turnover time between builds.
Intelligent Print Parameters: The system automatically adjusts roller frequency and resin levelling delay times based on printing area and material viscosity. Manual control remains available for specialised applications.
Automatic Resin Management: Precise, automated adjustment of resin levels in the vat ensures optimal printing conditions for materials with viscosity under 500cPs.
Time-Saving Hardware: Magnetic platforms enable rapid installation and removal. The side-shifting membrane system eliminates the need for membrane removal between builds, maximising uptime. An integrated scraper and roller eliminate air bubbles and reduces levelling time.
Adaptive Heating: The resin vat heating system ensures compatibility with diverse materials and complex environmental conditions.

The D1025 is compatible with BMF’s full range of functional engineering-grade photosensitive resins, including biocompatible, high-temperature, chemical-resistant, and specialised materials. This versatility ensures we can match material properties precisely to your application requirements.
BMF’s Projection Micro Stereolithography technology enables rapid photopolymerization of liquid polymer layers using UV-LED light at 405nm wavelength. The improved DLP projection system features larger projection zones that result in faster print times while maintaining the ultra-high precision and excellent surface finish PµSL is known for.
Whether you’re developing microfluidic devices for lab-on-a-chip applications, precision electronics components, medical device prototypes, or research tools, our new BMF microArch D1025 system enables us to produce your micro-scale parts with dual-resolution flexibility and built-in automation that delivers faster turnaround, lower costs, and exceptional precision.
The D1025 represents a fundamental shift in what we can offer—combining ultra-high resolution, accuracy, and precision with revolutionary dual-resolution capability and advanced automation. From single prototypes to production runs requiring micron-level precision and repeatability, we’re equipped to manufacture parts that meet your specifications.
