Trainee / Experienced CNC Machine Operator

We currently have an opportunity for a CNC machine operator. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding plastic manufacturing team at a reputable business in Nazeing, specialising in the CNC machining of bespoke plastic products.  Candidates looking to apply should have a good educational background, be conscientious and driven individuals. Applicants with a work history in CNC machining will have an advantage, however this is not essential.

The duties will include;

• CNC machine setting and operation
• Machining and inspection of parts
• Secondary operations – drilling, taping, polishing etc.

The applicant will need to demonstrate;

• Good written and verbal communication
• Good mathematical ability
• The ability to work with minimum supervision, whilst paying attention to detail
• The ability to work as part of a team
• An understanding of CAD/CAM programs would be an advantage

We are located in Nazeing Essex, near to Broxbourne railway station

Typical working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with opportunity to do overtime. Preference will be given to local applicants or those that have a relatively easy commute.
